ABOUT US

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

OUR MISSION

The mission of Perish No More is to see people set free from bondages, addictions and a life of destruction to being transformed by the love and salvation of Jesus Christ.

We accomplish this by working with churches and various ministries in caring for the physical needs of people outside the church doors.  As we receive donations, the items are distributed on an individual basis in order to build impactful relationships.

It is our goal to encourage every person we encounter to move toward their God given destiny.  Those who receive care and support are given the opportunity to pay it forward, by using their talents to help others.

OUR FOUNDER

Perish No More was founded in April 2001 by Pastor Ruby Jones.  She is a living witness that the power of Jesus Christ is real and alive.  Having been restored from a lifestyle of drugs, Ruby understands the pain and daily struggles the enemy uses for one's destruction.  Ruby's call to Lancaster City was further confirmed with the death of her brother due to drugs.

Ruby now brings love and caring support to the community she grew up in.  She was educated in Lancaster City Schools and is a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School.  She is also a graduate of Christ for the Nations with an Associates degree in practical theology and was licensed to preach in 1999.  Ruby received her certificate of Ordination in 2002 and a certificate in Biblical Counseling through Westminster Theological Seminary in 2009. In 2011 Ruby was a recipient of the "Essence of Humanity" humanitarian award for her life and ministry achievements.

"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."  --  John 3:17

"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!" Mark 1:15

"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God..." John 1:12
